Would it be possible to create polls before making reviews? That way users could vote between 5 or 6 series, and the winner of the poll gets reviewed.

I have to disagree with this suggestion.
The main purpose of reviews (as far as I know) is to introduce a show or a book to people not yet familiar with it so they can decide if they want to try it. Most of the people who have sufficient information about the work to make an informed vote would not need to be introduced to it.
I, personally, would miss the feeling of being informed of something new that I was not previously aware of, or didn't have access to.

That makes sense. Maybe a poll with six or seven more obscure titles?

Out of curiosity, what types of stories are you looking to see reviewed? Is there a specific genre or format (print, digital, app-based, etc) you'd like to see get covered?

@Princess_Irene
I have a strong preference for print (I don't have an e-reader and find reading at the computer problematic) but other than that, I think you are doing fine. Your rather omnivorous approach suits me. As I said above I like it when you come up with stuff that flew under the radar, even if only to know what not to try.

This may be more difficult, but I'd like to see obscure 18+ non-hentai manga/anime reviewed. Some suggestions include the Dokumushi manga (which has a 3-volume spinoff), Mushoku Kyosei (a manga about unemployed people being brainwashed and forced to participate in a Battle Royale-style tournament) and the infamous Dead Tube, which is almost always kept up-to-date on scanlation sites.
