While I agree that this volume lacks when compared to recent offerings, I'm still going to have to say C- is a little harsh. Aside from the humor (which gives a chuckle or two) the revelation K1 has about midway through the volume is quite interesting and seems to signal hopefully a more refined focus for the series. Again, it's one of the more uninteresting volumes, but the strength of the characters and writing make it at least a C or C+ in my opinion (especially if you compare it to most series that lack a central storyline at the 20 or so mark).

I too have noticed that Mr. Fujishima seems to have run out of ideas with this story and is just stretching out old plots to cover. I think he needs to start concentrating on Keichi and Bell's relationship and moving it on forward to the next level. Still I can't understand why anyone, who might be interested in this story, would want to start at Vol.21 in the first place. That would be a bit odd to me.
French is Peorth's first language hence the reason she starts speaking it when under stress. This was the only irritating part of the movie when they used an American accent, and one that made her sound like she was in her 50's.

I've been waiting for volume 22 to come out this month as DH said it was suppose to last August. So when Amazon kept saying "not in stock" I went to DH's site and they have posted an 18 January 2006 date for it now. At this rate and at my age I may not live long enough to see the end of the story. Crying or Very sad
