Looks like the best place for people in Japan to hole up during a zombie apocalypse is a local Mr. Kanso restaurant (as opposed to, say, an abandoned high school).
The School-Live! anime is collaborating with Japanese canned good restaurant Mr. Kanso for a special late-summer event. Mr. Kanso locations nationwide are offering School-Live!-themed canned goods, with different menu items featuring a different character from the anime.
Customers will be able to buy "Yuki's Fluffy Dashitamago", a rolled egg dish, for 600 yen (about US$5) or "Kurumi's Rosy Corn Beef" for 850 yen (about US$7). The full list of products can be seen below, along with their price tags.
- Yuki's Fluffy Dashitamago- 600 yen (about US$5)
- Kurumi's Rosy Corn Beef- 850 yen (about US$7)
- Rii-san's Homemade Miso Mackerel- 850 yen (about US$7)
- Mii-ku's Super Dry Hot and Sour Soup- 600 yen (about US$5)
- Painfully Spicy Curry- 600 yen (about US$5)

Furthermore, any purchase of these limited edition goods will also come with one of three special illustration postcards featuring the characters. One post card even shows off Yuki and Megumi dining at Mr. Kanso.
Having started on August 7, the collaboration event will last until September 30.
