Kemono Friends Characters Visit Real-World Zoo in Video

Niconico Douga user -- uploaded a video on August 28 that shows Kemono Friends characters Serval, Kaban, and Lucky Beast visiting Shizuoka's Nihondaira Zoo. The live-action video shows the Friends meeting 28 different species of animals at the real-world zoo.
The creator used MikuMikuDance (MMD) software to make character models and then inserted them into footage from the zoo. The video has become popular with commenters online, and it currently has more than 74,000 views. The video is a submission for the MMD Cup Zero event.
The video shows Kemono Friends character panels, which were part of a collaboration between the zoo and the anime. The collaboration ran from June 30 to September 2, and Two-toed Sloth and Three-toed Sloth debuted as Friends during the promotion.
The second season of the Kemono Friends television anime series has been confirmed, and staff are holding auditions for a new unit for the show although they ran into a few bumps recently.
