THE ALFEE Frontman's Godzilla Guitar Gets Limited Edition Replicas

THE ALFEE frontman Toshihiko Takamizawa is the owner of a one-of-a-kind monstrous ax, a Godzilla guitar that could only be wielded by those with the power and prowess to play it responsibly. Takamizawa brought the guitar with him to Godzilla Store Tokyo in Shinjuku in November.
The Godzilla Store Tokyo has decided that five replicas of Takamizawa's unique guitar will be available for pre-order until September 30. The "Godzilla Guitar Awakening Version" instruments are made to order and cost 5,550,000 yen (US$52,330) each. The guitar includes purple LED lights built into the body and fingerboard.
Takamizawa is known for his collection of approximately 420 custom ESP guitars, some looking more like weaponry than instruments.
