posted on by Jennifer Sherman

Voice actress Kana Hanazawa is starring as the heroine in an anime promotional video for Yūsuke Yamada's Boku wa Robot Goshi no Kimi ni Koi wo Suru (I fall in love with you through a robot) novel. Kawade Shobo Shinsha will release the novel as Yamada's first work in four years on October 21.

A-1 Pictures (Your Lie in April, Sword Art Online) is producing the animation for the video. The 22-year-old artist loundraw (Tsuki ga Kirei) is designing the characters, and THE SxPLAY (Final Fantasy XIII game's theme song) is performing the theme song. BALCOLONY. (Madoka Magica, Katsugeki! Tōken Ranbu) is in charge of graphic design.

The novel's story is set in the year 2060 with Tokyo's third Olympics close at hand. While a secret project using robots moves forward, notice of a terrorist threat arrives. The story's protagonist combats terrorism and aims to protect the heroine, to whom he has given his heart. Plot twists come one after another as the story unfolds to a moving conclusion.

The project has yet to reveal when the promotional video will debut online, but participating bookstores will start showing the video on October 21.

Hanazawa is a prolific voice actress known for playing characters such as Owarimonogatari's Nadeko Sengoku, Oreimo's Ruri Gokō, Infinite Stratos' Charles Dunois, Durarara!!'s Anri Sonohara, Bungo Stray Dogs's Lucy M., Psycho-Pass' Akane Tsunemori, and Tokyo Ghoul's Rize Kamishiro.

loundraw's trailer for the fictional Yume ga Sameru Made (Before you wake up) anime film debuted in July. The trailer was the artist's college graduation project, and Hiro Shimono and Sora Amamiya voiced the main characters. The fictional anime film's impossible release date is listed as September 31, 2017.
