posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The November issue of Futabasha's Manga Action magazine announced on Wednesday that a television anime adaptation of Daisuke Hiyama's Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan (Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time) manga has been green-lit.
The fantasy manga centers on the titular protagonist Peter Grill, an adventurer and the "strongest man in the world." While he has a girlfriend named Luvilia with whom he sworn to spend the rest of his life, Luvilia still believes that babies are delivered by storks, and in the two years since their relationship began, Peter and Luvilia has not progressed beyond holding hands. In the meantime, various other women, such as two ogre twins and an elf, all want him so that they can bear strong children. Peter has to avoid all manner of temptation and plots, all while feeling guilty toward Luvilia.
Hiyama launched the manga in Manga Action in July 2017. Futabasha published the manga's fourth compiled book volume on July 12.
